Role Summary
- Assist the Watersports Manager and Supervisor in leading the team and overseeing department activities
- Conduct observations and deliver sessions for individuals of varying ages and skill levels
- Ensure visitors’ safety and enjoyment is prioritized through high-quality sessions that comply with both internal and national governing body regulations
- The role involves shift work, typically from 8am-8pm, and includes working every other weekend and some bank holidays
Role Requirements
- An engaging individual with at least one Senior Level qualification: RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor, UKCC Level 2 Coach, BC Coach Award
- Additional qualifications, such as RYA Powerboat Level 2 or a first aid certificate, are beneficial
- Applicants must agree to undertake an enhanced DBS check

The role: As a Senior Watersports Instructor, you will assist the Watersports Manager and Supervisor in overseeing the department. This includes leading the team, conducting session observations, and delivering various sessions to people of all ages and skill levels. Ensuring that all visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience is paramount, and you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sessions that adhere to both our internal procedures and national governing body syllabuses. The position involves shift work, typically between 8am and 8pm, and requires working every other weekend and some bank holidays.
Job requirements: We are seeking engaging individuals who hold at least one of the following Senior Level qualifications: RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor, UKCC Level 2 Coach, or BC Coach Award. Additional qualifications such as RYA Powerboat Level 2 and/or a first aid certificate would be beneficial. Successful applicants will also need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
