About You

You’re passionate about games with checkered boards; sometimes including chess. You’re committed to learning the names of the pieces, including the horsey. You believe in growing the game of chess. 

What you’ll do

• Keep Chess.com servers alive
• Channel Magnus energy during live stream appearances
• Deliver all of the best visual content, including broadcast showcards
• Challenge staff all over the world to Connect 4 battles
• Crush all full-stack development tasks
• Handle the majority of IT tickets
• Crunch the numbers, and own all bookkeeping
• Join Danny for daily crossfit, 365 days a year #nevermiss
• Watch all Chess.com broadcasts (while Danny does crossfit)
• Literally just care

Preferred Skills

• No interest in chasing a Grandmaster title
• Must be able to go above and beyond
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Sense of ownership and responsibility
• Write lyrics for motivational songs during all-hands meetings
