What does a CRM Manager do at Busuu?
Working closely with the Activation Squad and the wider CRM team, you’ll be key to driving revenue and premium user growth. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery, from strategy development to the execution of campaigns, and evaluation of performance against KPIs.
In this role you’ll:
- As a CRM Manager, you will play a vital role in the Activation Squad and will be responsible for driving revenue and premium user growth through email and mobile channels (push and in-app).
- You will work closely with the Head of CRM and Activation squad (product team) to define and optimize the activation CRM strategy, challenging the status quo with your growth mindset.
- Your key responsibilities will include owning the delivery of promotional and triggered campaigns across email and mobile channels, as well as supporting the wider CRM team with non-promotional campaigns such as engagement, retention, and onboarding campaigns. You will analyze campaign results and use the data to propose new initiatives and A/B tests.
- You are highly data-centric and comfortable self-serving and modeling data when needed. Your commercial awareness enables you to understand and explain the business context for decisions.
- In addition to your core responsibilities, you will work closely with the insights, customer service, and research teams to identify opportunities to optimize conversions and engagement. You will collaborate with relevant creative, product, and marketing teams to deliver consistent customer experiences across channels.
What we’re looking for in a CRM Manager :
- 4/5+ years CRM experience within an international business, ideally having worked on multi-language campaigns
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience of cross channel CRM systems; preferably Braze
- Equal balance of data-driven and creative
- Good eye for detail
- Loves A/B testing, and knows how to use the results to improve performance
- Good at multitasking
- Team player and someone who enjoys working with other people
