The role: As a Barista at Origin at the British Library, you will be integral to our team, responsible for delivering an exceptional coffee experience. You will uphold our quality standards and create meaningful customer interactions in a high-volume, public-facing role. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving high-quality coffee, maintaining consistency in coffee quality, engaging with customers to educate and inspire appreciation for speciality coffee, and supporting the retail team in achieving operational excellence. Job requirements: We are looking for someone passionate about coffee and hospitality, with experience in a coffee or hospitality setting and a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques. You should be comfortable operating coffee equipment, managing a high volume of tasks, and engaging customers with knowledge and enthusiasm. A collaborative and adaptable attitude is essential, as is a detail-oriented approach to ensuring precision in coffee preparation and service.
