We’ve brought together an incredible community of the nation’s finest event suppliers, from independent photographers, mixologists and florists, to the finest chefs and restaurants in the world such as Nobu, Bao, and Honest Burger, now bookable for any event through Feast It.
Our clients include everyone from Amazon, Nike and London Pride, to Tom Cruise, Star Wars and Taylor Swift. We have seen nothing but rapid growth and raised a significant round of funding at the end of last year, and have been featured in many major publications including; The Guardian, The Times, Techcrunch, The FT. Further, we have been named in the top 15 in Tempo’s 50 Best Places to Work.
Overall we have also attracted around £15m in funding over multiple rounds from some of the UK’s finest investors including Tim Score (Chairman of British Land), MAHR Projects, Ascension Ventures, Guy Berryman (member of Coldplay) and Richard Pennycook (Chairman of On The Beach and Boparen, former THG Chair) who has joined us as Chair.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Event Producer to join the public-facing events arm of the Commercial Team from May - July. You’ll help manage our event contracts from start to finish so we’re looking for someone who takes huge pleasure in seeing the culmination of their work at a successful event! You will be responsible for 360° delivery to our clients, including curation, documentation, payments, logistics, on-site management and post-event reporting.
Feast It suppliers range from unique, high-quality street food suppliers to large scale bars, marquees and more.
Having an end-to-end knowledge of event production and F&B businesses function will be important in this role, so previous experience at a similar company is preferable, or a keen interest in the UK’s food market scene.
You will have the opportunity to work on some amazing events such as Royal Ascot, RIAT, Canada Day, Gala Festival, Boiler Room, Greenwich Summer Sounds, Kew The Music, Windsor Illuminated, Christmas at Kenwood… just to name a few - there’s something for everyone!
We take immense joy in providing incredible suppliers at all of our events and it will be your responsibility to ensure our clients love their experience of working with Feast It and our high standards are met.
This role involves regularly working on-site, often during weekends and as such, it’s not a typical 9 - 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage valuable events and build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring that their expectations are met and exceeded at every stage of the event planning process.
- Delivering event briefs from the point of signing a contract through to the live event and post-event reporting.
- Work collaboratively with suppliers to deliver great events that result in a high level of client satisfaction, leveraging your expertise and experience to ensure that all aspects of event production are executed flawlessly.
- Come up with clever ways to engage our suppliers and grow their revenue, fostering a culture of collaboration and partnership that benefits both Feast It and its suppliers.
- Use production and site plan/floor plan management apps and other tools as necessary to ensure the success of events.
- Create Health & Safety and RAMS docs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date records and information across all event management platforms and applications.- Assist with testing and company-wide initiatives, ensuring that the team is aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Deliver revenue and hit targets, leveraging your commercially minded approach and ability to cross-sell and upsell to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Create post-event data packs with relevant information for our clients and identify areas of improvement.
- Assist with new team member onboarding, helping new hires integrate into the team and build their skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a Feast It ambassador, attending industry events to build relationships, identify acquisition opportunities, and stay current on new trends in the industry.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years event management and production experience within the events industry; preferably with F&B suppliers/traders at large-scale outdoor and experiential events; delivering operational, logistical and staffing projects
- Thrive while working on-site at public events - whether it’s a weekend, late night or early morning!
- Are emotionally intelligent, empathetic and personable. Your ability to create and nurture relationships will define success in this role.
- Are highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Results-driven and have a bias for action. You care about your work driving the business forward and won’t stop until it does!
- Have the ability to quickly pick up new online tools and know your way around an excel spreadsheet.
- Creative & Solutions oriented, there will always be challenges, but you should always bring meaningful solutions to the table.
