We distribute our ratings via our SaaS Product, BeZero Carbon Markets, informing all market participants on how to price and manage risk. Our ratings and research tools support buyers, intermediaries, investors and carbon project developers.

Founded in April 2020, our 120+ strong team combines climatic and earth sciences, sell-side financial research, earth observation, machine learning, data and technology, engineering, and public policy expertise. We work from four continents.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our Marketing team to produce and oversee digital and print creative solutions to address our marketing needs.

Ideally, you should have deep interest in and knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should also have experience leading and executing marketing projects from conception to production, including website design, email campaigns, key visuals for events, sales collaterals, and social media assets. Some experience in animation design and video editing would be valuable . It’s important that the person in this role is a strategic thinker as well, to help ensure the processes used around our creative solutions are sustainable and help the team work effectively and efficiently.

Ultimately, you will ensure the design team promotes our brand through delivering high quality pieces on time, sometimes with tight deadlines.

This role will have hybrid work flexibility, but will be based in London at our Old Street offices three days per week.

The role itself will involve:

• Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery

• Design original pieces, including illustrations and icons

• Collaborate with the other designers’ to ensure high quality by reviewing one another’s work

• Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software

• Apply typography, data visualisation and infographic techniques

• Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise highly-detailed products

• Increase user friendliness in digital design-led products

• Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects

• Liaise with Marketing and Commercial teams as well as other stakeholders across Product, Ratings and Research, etc. to ensure deadlines are met

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, innovations and tools

You will be the ideal candidate if:

• Have proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role

• Have 5+ years experience designing as part of a marketing team

• Are proficient in design software (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• Have experience in web design

• Possess some experience in animation design and video editing

• Possess strong experience in B2B marketing – simplifying complex offers through animations and data visualisation

• Can provide a portfolio of completed design projects showcasing strong aesthetic skills across multiple channels

Mandatory/beneficial skills:

• BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field

• Ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team

• You have superior communication skills, written and verbal

• You are highly organised and self-motivated with a sense of urgency where needed

• You are capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision

• You can think critically and exercise independent judgement and discretion

• You’re motivated to grow yourself, and help enable the growth of BeZero Carbon

• You care about attention to detail
