Role Summary

The Role: As the Operations Specialist at Renaissance Philanthropy, you will be instrumental in advancing the Arctic Stabilization Initiative (ASI)'s mission to mitigate catastrophic Arctic climate risks. This role involves supporting program delivery, financial administration, and partner coordination. You will translate strategic goals into practical execution, working closely with ASI's scientific leadership, external research partners, and internal teams.
Job Requirements: Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in program management, operations, nonprofit/philanthropy, or research administration. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities are essential. Proficiency in project management tools such as Airtable, Notion, or Asana is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A genuine interest in climate risk and Arctic systems is crucial.
Benefits: This full-time position is based in Bellingham, Washington, with a preference for candidates who can spend at least half their working time in person. The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000 USD.
