Role Summary

Role Requirements

  • Must have experienced working in weight management, bariatric, or eating disorder settings.
  • Should be a certified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with relevant mental health setting experience.
  • Capable to deliver digital group-based programs independently and manage a caseload of patients.

We're excited to offer a position for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at one of the UK's leading health-tech companies, Second Nature. Our mission is to eradicate obesity and type 2 diabetes by increasing access to effective treatment for people living with obesity through our Specialist Weight Management Service (SWMS).

The role: As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will be a crucial part of our multidisciplinary team, supporting people living with obesity to make sustainable lifestyle and behavior changes. This role is fully remote and requires flexibility for some evening and occasional weekend sessions. You will provide psychological therapy using approaches like CBT and DBT, deliver group-based and one-to-one interventions, and participate in regular MDT meetings.

Job requirements: You should have experience in a weight management, bariatric, or eating disorder setting. A qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with relevant experience in mental health settings is essential. You must be capable of delivering digital group-based programs and managing a caseload of patients independently.
