Simmer is a meal delivery service built on a simple idea: healthy food should taste extraordinary. Founded by brothers Simmy and Jhai with £10 of ingredients, the business has grown into one of the UK's most compelling consumer startups, ranked #5 in the Sunday Times 100 in 2025 and the fastest-growing food business in Europe in the FT1000, with a rapidly scaling loyal customer base and a product that people don't just buy once - they build their lives around.
We're not a startup finding its feet. We're a business with serious momentum and a clear ambition: to become the defining brand in healthy eating.
This is a fully founder-led business with no private equity or corporate layers. The founders still run the company, set the standard, and are present in the work. For those that join Simmer, you will operate with real authority, in direct proximity to the people driving the business, on problems that actually move the numbers.
The Role
This is not a traditional influencer job.
There are no celebrity briefs, no glossy brand partnerships, no vanity metrics to celebrate. This role exists to build a creator acquisition channel that is commercial, scalable, and measurably driving customers - the same way our paid media team thinks about Meta or TikTok.
You'll own the sourcing, the relationships, the negotiations, the testing, and the performance. One week you might be building a pipeline of micro-creators no one else has spotted yet. The next, structuring an affiliate deal, cutting a format that isn't working, or briefing a creator on content that actually converts. The work shifts. The standard doesn't.
This role sits within Simmer's Special Projects team - a small cohort of high-calibre people working across the highest-priority areas of the business. It's not a department in the traditional sense. It's the group closest to the founders, with the broadest exposure and the fastest path to real ownership. Influencer is your lane to own. But the people around you will be working across growth, retention, commercial and product. The standard is shared. The opportunity is the same
What You'll Actually Do
• Source and build a pipeline of high-potential creators - prioritising undervalued attention over obvious names
• Negotiate rates, terms and structures that make commercial sense
• Test creators, formats and offers quickly - and kill what isn't working fast
• Set up affiliate and revenue-share structures that turn influencer spend into a trackable, ROI-driven channel
• Measure performance by creator, format and audience - and feed learnings back into content and growth teams
• Build the systems and processes that make this channel repeatable and scalable
Who We're Looking For
You're 1-3 years into your career. You came out of a good university, you worked hard, and you've already operated in an environment where pace and commercial thinking were expected of you.
But you want more than what you're doing now. More ownership. More consequence. More of a sense that your work is actually connected to something building.
You're the person who, when given a brief, doesn't just complete it - you find the angle others missed. You move fast. You don't wait to be chased. You're likeable enough to build real relationships, but you're not soft when it comes to a negotiation.
Specifically:
• Strong academic record from a top-tier university
• 1-3 years in a fast-paced commercial environment. That might be a startup, an agency, a brand or talent management, or somewhere that required you to think on your feet and get things done with limited hand-holding
• Comfort with numbers - rates, return on spend, cost-per-acquisition. You don't need to be a modeller, but you need to be able to reason through whether something makes financial sense
• High energy and genuine resilience. You can chase, negotiate, manage moving pieces, and keep going when things get messy
• Clear communicator - direct, confident, not easily flustered
• Hungry. Not optimising for comfort. Wants to build something.
What This Isn't
If you want to manage big-budget campaigns for major celebrity talent and talk about brand awareness, this isn't for you.
If you want to be close to a real business, own real outcomes, and build something that didn't exist before you joined - this is that.
You'll be working at a £100M ARR business, founder-owned and profitable, with direct access to the people making decisions. There is real ownership on offer here, and very little distance between you and the results.
If this is you - APPLY NOW !
