Battersea is currently in an exciting phase of innovation and transformation, entering the second year of our new five-year strategy. With a focus on increasing investment in income generation, we are expanding our team to drive the growth necessary to achieve our organisational goals. We are now offering two Philanthropy Manager opportunities to support this growth: a full-time permanent position and a 3-year fixed-term role focused on New Business. Both positions are part of the Philanthropy, Partnerships & Commercial (PPC) team, which includes Philanthropy & Trusts, Corporate Partnerships & Commercial, Special Events & Stewardship, and Fundraising Operations.

The permanent Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for meeting both financial and strategic KPIs to ensure the long-term health of the Philanthropy pipeline. This involves managing a portfolio of key individual relationships and line-managing the Philanthropy Officer to achieve their targets. This role requires close collaboration with senior leadership and volunteers to expand networks and introduce new major donors to Battersea.

The fixed-term Philanthropy Manager role is a new position aimed at securing new income as part of a 4-6 million pound capital fundraising appeal over the next 3 years. This role will focus on cultivating a pipeline of new major donor prospects to secure significant donations for our capital campaign.

Battersea offers a range of employee benefits to support wellbeing, including 28 days of annual leave plus public holidays, discounted gym membership, an Employee Assistance Programme, generous pension contributions, and a free healthcare cash plan.
