Role Summary

  • Maintaining high standards of animal husbandry, care, and enrichment.
  • Responsible for cleanliness of kennels, providing animals with appropriate food, water, and enrichment.
  • Supporting dogs' behavioural and medical needs.
  • Facilitating dogs' journey through Battersea accurately on the Salesforce system and regularly reviewing procedures to maintain excellent care.

Role Requirements

  • Individuals with resilience and adaptability.
  • Capability of handling the physical tasks required in animal care.
  • Experience in similar roles would be beneficial.

The role: As a Rehoming & Welfare Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of animal husbandry, care, and enrichment for the dogs in our care. This includes ensuring our kennels are clean, providing the correct food, water, and enrichment, and supporting the dogs' behavioural and medical needs. You will also facilitate the dogs' journey through Battersea by providing accurate information on the Salesforce system and regularly reviewing procedures to maintain excellent care.

Job requirements: We are seeking individuals with resilience and adaptability, capable of handling the physical tasks required to provide exceptional standards of care to our animals. Experience in similar roles or environments would be beneficial.
