About You
You are interested in getting involved in EVERYTHING at Chess.com: product, tech, strategy, bizdev, marketing, people, monetization, content... literally everything, because you would be working arm-in-arm with our CEO, who is involved in every aspect of growing chess and Chess.com! You have a great education background and some business experience, but are looking to get your hands dirty as you work closely with our exec team and CEO to keep growing Chess.com.
This role is an intentional path to more opportunities within Chess.com. Also, your application is going to be judged on the quality of your answers to the application questions. Being a thoughtful, thorough writer and good communicator is key to this role.
What You’ll Do
- Handle special projects and assignments for CEO
- Unblock everything that needs unblocking, source things that need sourcing, and noodle on things that need noodling
- Attend meetings, take notes, create action items, and then get things done
- Work with every department at Chess.com to document and publish regular goals
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years experience working in consulting, gaming, consumer software, or digital entertainment
- Strong analytical skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university
- 1400+ rated Chess.com player
- Lifelong learner
About the Opportunity
