This is an exciting opportunity for a London based, customer centric individual who loves being organised, building relationships and being part of an agile, fast moving team.

Bread & Jam is the largest community of food and drink brands in the UK. Founded by Jason Gibb and Tara Mei in 2016, Bread & Jam has grown to become the first port of call for ambitious food & drink entrepreneurs looking to accelerate the launch and scale of their ventures.

Bread & Jam hosts a comprehensive, year round programme of cutting edge events including our legendary socials, workshops, panel discussions and one day industry summits. Our annual festival brings together hundreds of emerging food & drink brands, industry experts, investors, media and retail buyers for two days of groundbreaking content and retail pitching.

Bread & Jam is run by a small team of dedicated individuals passionate about making it easier for emerging food and drink brands to succeed. We're now looking for a Programme Coordinator to join our team to support our network of esteemed speakers and facilitate our programme line up. This is a hybrid working role with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. Our offices are based in London and we're looking for someone who is able to come into the office at least twice a week.

Our website is www.breadandjamfest.com

What will you be doing?

  • Managing our content schedule and agenda
  • Working closely with our Partnerships Manager and Marketing Manager to ensure our sponsors are championed as part of our event line up
  • Sourcing industry experts, VIP speakers and panellists to create disruptive and engaging content for our events
  • Researching prospective speakers and VIPs
  • Approaching prospective speakers and liaising with them and their PAs
  • Managing our speaker database, ensuring contact details and additional information is up to date
  • Creating briefing documents and facilitating the speaker journey
  • Managing our retail pitching process

We're looking for someone who is...

  • A proactive self starter who loves being busy and thinking fast on their feet
  • Super organised and loves having all their ducks in a row
  • Tech savvy and process driven, keen to work smart and build processes that make their working day more efficient
  • Customer centric, focused on giving our event partners the best experience

Ideal but not essential:

  • Experience working in events and managing speakers and VIPs
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and customer service
  • London based or able to easily commute to our London offices at least twice a week

What we’re offering:

  • This is a rare opportunity to work for a well established business within food and drink with a strong reputation
  • A competitive salary and opportunities to grow with the business
  • Access to all of our events and the chance to be part of our growing community and unrivalled network

How to apply

Please send us your CV and cover letter, outlining why you’d be a great fit for the role. We're a small team and we're down to earth, real people - we hope you are too. We're particularly interested in people who love what we do and are keen to make a difference to the growth of emerging brands.
