The role: As the Chief Data Officer at Sustainalytics, you will be the primary executive responsible for the strategic use of data across our organization. Reporting to the President of Morningstar Sustainalytics, you will play a crucial role within the senior leadership team and collaborate closely with Morningstar's CXOs and the broader corporate executive leadership team. This position offers the flexibility to be based in London, Chicago, or New York City.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years in strategy data management and operations leadership, with a proven track record in large-scale data strategy and execution. You should possess deep expertise in sustainability, mutual fund, equity, and fixed-income data and investment methodologies. Strong communication skills are essential for influencing, negotiating, and aligning stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with Big Data technologies and client-facing data product development is a strong advantage.
