Morningstar Sustainalytics, a leader in Climate and Sustainability research, data and solutions, is seeking a Chief Data Officer. Your role is critical to the senior leadership team and will demand close collaboration with Morningstar's CXOs and the broader corporate executive leadership.
Role Summary:

Role Requirements:
- 15 years experience in strategy data management and operations leadership
- Proven record in large-scale data strategy and execution
- Expertise in sustainability, mutual fund, equity, and fixed-income data and investment methodologies
- Strong communication skills, ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels

The role: As the Chief Data Officer at Sustainalytics, you will be the primary executive responsible for the strategic use of data across our organization. Reporting to the President of Morningstar Sustainalytics, your role is crucial within the senior leadership team, and involves close collaboration with Morningstar's CXOs and the broader corporate executive leadership. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing a data strategy aligned with our business goals, establishing data governance frameworks, overseeing data policies and compliance, and leading data architecture and infrastructure initiatives. Additionally, you will manage data quality, stewardship, and enable advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
Job requirements: You should have a minimum of 15 years in strategy data management and operations leadership, with a proven track record in large-scale data strategy and execution. Deep expertise in sustainability, mutual fund, equity, and fixed-income data and investment methodologies is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels are also required.
