Location: Rapha Works, Archway, North London
Working Hours: Monday-Friday (onsite) 

Rapha Works is our Head Office in London. It’s home to our largest group of employees and it is much more than an office. Inside, you’re welcomed into our internal Clubhouse with a Barista preparing fresh coffee, TV’s showing live racing and our very own mechanic. 

Across 4 floors, our office space is where our teams connect and collaborate, with various work and social areas to inspire us to do our best work. 

We’re looking for an Office Manager who will oversee the management of our beautiful new space. The ideal candidate will have the ability to oversee the usual myriad of responsibilities that come with being an office manager and have a natural ability to get things done. They will be interested in supporting our cultural initiatives and understand the importance of employee experience and how this role can influence.  

THE ROLE

The Office Manager will oversee and be responsible for the following;   

  • Facility management and contracts, i.e. cleaning, security, recycling, F&B vendors, pest control etc.
  • Day to day office upkeep and arranging emergency maintenance. 
  • Overall accountability for the office budget and cafe P&L. 
  • You will be responsible for the Health & Safety function ensuring we are compliant, including, fire safety, office risk assessments, food safety and DSE assessments. 
  • You will be responsible for arranging and managing fire safety and first aid training. 
  • To work with Department Heads ad hoc to support with office setup, including re-arranging working stations and equipment. 
  • You will oversee day to day office operations, including post, deliveries and visitors. 
  • You will oversee and manage the Front of House team, ensuring we are always considering the employee experience.  
  • Working closely with the People & Culture team you will support with planning in house events and off-site activities, including office rides, parties and meetings. 
  • You will be happy to be hands on and support the office coordinator on the front desk, covering a couple hours per day and ad hoc as required. 
  • Managing relationships and projects with key internal and external stakeholders. 

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:

  • Experience managing building facilities
  • Experience owning and delivering a Health and Safety strategy to a high standard
  • Strong organisational and planning skills from a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to multi-task 
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Experience with budgetary responsibility
  • Experience in managing a report or small team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
