Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and data-savvy Head of Revenue Operations to join our team and lead the optimisation of revenue generation processes and systems. As the Head of Revenue Operations, you will work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to drive revenue growth and ensure that our client-facing functions are optimised for revenue generation and client retention. You will use data to enhance our GTM strategy and drive growth, expanding our national footprint. This role is ideal for you if you have a proven track record in revenue operations, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a knack for understanding tools, streamlining and automating software processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Aligning Processes and Systems: You will align the processes and systems across different departments to ensure consistency and accuracy in revenue-related activities, such as lead management, sales forecasting, and customer retention.
- Improving Data Management: Working with the Revenue Operations Executive, our data management processes will be kept accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for decision-making.
- Optimising Sales Processes: You will optimise our sales processes using the tech stack available, including lead nurturing, deal management, and sales forecasting, to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Marketing Funnel Support: Acting as support for the Head of Marketing, you will assist in streamlining lead generation processes, funnel conversion and ROI analysis, to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Enhancing Customer Success Processes: Directly leading the Customer Success function, including Account Management and Customer Operations, you will be responsible for onboarding processes and ongoing support to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates.
- Implementing Technology Solutions: Being tech-savvy, you will manage technology solutions, such as CRM, marketing automation, and sales enablement tools, to support revenue-related activities and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leadership: You will be responsible for the development, output for goals and targets within your team.
Key Relationships
- Chief Commercial Officer: You will report to our CCO. They are accountable for your teams’ output and will support you across the breadth of your responsibilities.
- Marketing Team: You will work with the Marketing Team to provide feedback on customer personas, needs and services requested to enable the team to build effective communications.
- Customer Operations Team: You are accountable for the output of the customer operations team, and your direct report will be the Customer Operations Manager. You will set, measure and lead the completion of their KPIs, Goals and Targets.
- Account Managers: As your direct reports, our account managers will require your full support to achieve client retention and revenue growth.
- Senior Operations Manager: To fully understand our relationship with our customer and GTM strategy you will need to understand our product and processes, it is therefore important to have a good relationship with the Operations Managers, and keep this knowledge up to date and documented to minimise repeated advice or communication.
- VP, Platform: When optimising our tech stack you will have questions for our platform team, and this will require a close working relationship with our VP, Platform.
Requirements
Essential:
- 4 years of experience as as Revenue Operations Manager, Sales Operations Manager, Marketing Operations Manager, or similar positions.
- Strategic Insight: Analyse internal and external data to develop and execute a strategic plan that aligns with business goals and drives revenue growth.
- Prioritisation: Manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks to ensure smooth revenue operations.
- Automation - A strong understanding of revenue-related technologies, such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and data analytics tools, to drive revenue growth.
- Financial Data: You will be required to work with financial data sets to forecast and identify key performance indicators and carry out sales analysis. You could have a strong understanding of financial data.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments to align processes and ensure smooth operations.
- Communication: Use excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and present revenue data and analysis to stakeholders.
- Sustainability and Values: Be a champion for sustainability initiatives, embody company values of creativity, excellence and integrity, and demonstrate a high level of EQ in client-facing situations.
- Ability to travel regularly to our HQ in Swindon and Lagoon in London.
Desirable:
- Experience in a startup environment, or in a high-growth organisation, would be an added advantage.
- Experience with the specific software applications used by the company, such as Hubspot, Zendesk, Google Looker, Excel and/or Google Sheets, Xero, Zapier, and other Sales Enablement Tools, will be highly beneficial.

💷 A salary of £45,000-£60,000 per year depending on experience
