*this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) on occasion. Please note, this role is being offered on an 8-month FTC basis.

The role in a nutshell

As the Employee Experience Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive work experience and culture for all employees. You will manage, implement and design initiatives that will support, enable and inspire UNiDAYS team members every day. You will have responsibility to help onboard new team members and to create and support an environment that helps us to retain high-calibre talent as we strive to make every experience more valuable and rewarding for our team members.

This is a varied role where you will have responsibility for all aspects of the employee journey at UNiDAYS. The successful candidate will need to have some general office management experience including knowledge of Health & Safety for both office and home working. We are a remote-first company but all employees are able to access our 4 campuses in Nottingham, London, Sydney and New York. We will require the Employee Experience Manager to be based from the Nottingham office one per week and travel to London occasionally. Day-to-day responsibilities

  • General office management responsibilities for our Nottingham & London HQ including;
  • Management of office supplies and suppliers
  • Ensure that both campuses are maintained to a high standard and all Health & Safety requirements are fulfilled
  • Manage and coordinate any one-off or longer-term facilities/office projects
  • Lead the design and implementation of initiatives that increase the levels of positive engagement with our team members globally
  • Own the global calendar of events through our Good Vibes programme & work with employees and regional partners to make it an effective and collaborative initiative.
  • Managing Employee Experience and facilities budgets, identifying cost savings where possible
  • Support our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda, including representing the People Team in the D&I committee and translating ideas into actionable initiatives and events
  • Own and proactively make improvements to the employee onboarding experience for all employees and managers globally, including delivery of orientation sessions
  • Identify areas of improvement with our current employee engagement and experience strategy
  • Create a proactive approach to well-being within the company to drive physical and mental well-being
  • Working in partnership with the broader People and management team to ensure resources are allocated across all areas of Employee Engagement
  • Create ways to measure and assess engagement i.e. engagement surveys
  • Manage Health and Safety in our campuses and ensure all policies are up to date and compliant at all campuses i.e. fire wardens/first aiders
  • Liaise and manage H&S Consultant relationships
  • Perform DSE assessments for home workers if requested and all new joiners to the business, manage the annual all-company DSE assessment

  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and managing expectations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Event planning & management on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Purchasing & contract negotiation
  • Exposure to creating and planning events and projects to support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Experience of using booking tools for managing and controlling campus access
  • Confidant in juggling a varied workload and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience using Google Suite is preferred
  • Willingness to travel to both our Nottingham and London campuses
