The Dirt is Good Schools Programme provides primary, secondary and SEND schools across the UK with everything they need to empower their students to take action on the environmental and social issues they care about. The programme is based on research by Global Action Plan that found a Values Perception Gap in young people, where they incorrectly believe that others do not care about social and environmental issues.
This Dirt Is Good Schools Programme, now in its third year of delivery, has a thriving network of schools participating and ambitious targets for school and young people engagement here in the UK.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator able to inspire and engage both teachers and young people, as well as balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will be confident in using systems for managing projects and communications, and will be able to design new processes across the programme. Ideally, they will have experience working in the education sector and have a passion for achieving outcomes that improve the lives of young people.
