We are looking for a people focused Area Manager to manage and guide an amazing team of Regional Account Managers and Account/Senior Executives. You will lead an exceptional team to maintain and grow our health and social care clients across Scotland to drive and excel Florence's growth in these regions.


  • Manage a high performing team of Regional Account Managers and Account Execs/Senior Account Execs to deliver an excellent service to our clients.
  • Retain, manage and grow the volume of business across your teams geographic regions, inline with company targets.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure a high level of employee performance and engagement. Foster a positive work environment in line with the Florence Values and culture. Confidently and discreetly manage any staffing or performance issues that may arise.
  • Develop and nurture talent from within your team to progress their career and become high performers
  • Incorporate data and insights into your decision-making process on an ongoing basis. Utilise data to understand opportunities in your area and allocate resource appropriately
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with management and stakeholders across the business


  • Extensive people management experience
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Solid understanding and experience of using data to make strategic decisions
  • Exceptional listener who naturally shows empathy and understanding internally as well as externally to our clients.
  • Solution focused with a positive and can do attitude
  • Proficiency and experience in the client negotiation process
  • Ability to demonstrate a growth mind set
  • Understanding of the Health and social care industry
  • Experienced in Hubspot or other CRM Platforms
  • Ability to demonstrate a growth mind set
