We are looking for a Group Accountant to join our growing Finance team. Reporting directly into the Senior Financial Controller and supported by the Assistant Management Accountants and Finance Assistant, you will be an essential part of the team taking responsibility for the day to day transactions and production of management accounts, alongside ad hoc projects that arise.

The Role
Your key responsibilities are:
- Running and reviewing the consolidation process of all Trinny London entities
- Review, translation and posting of monthly transactions, including those from overseas entities
- Preparing intercompany journals and a monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances
- Overseeing payroll for the different group entities
- Ensuring statutory compliance and tax reporting (including VAT) is submitted in a timely and accurate manner
- Ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and project assignments as required
- Managing interfaces from third party systems (ecommerce / customer data)
- Support the finance team with our ERP system (Netsuite) in testing and development and cross departmental communication
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Work with the wider team to promote continuous improvement and make suggestions for internal process development
Requirements
The essential skills and experience required to succeed in this role are:
- Qualified accountant with up to 2 years post-qualification experience
- Experience with NetSuite (preferred), or comparable ERP system
- Solid knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A problem solver with attention to detail
- Experience within SME in an e-commerce business – fashion or beauty is desirable
- Organisational and ownership skills
