Trouva is the leading platform to discover independent boutiques and brands offering customers a curated range of homewares, fashion and lifestyle. Launched in 2015, Trouva is headquartered in London and partners with over 700 independent boutiques across Europe, shipping to 38 countries worldwide.
In December 2022, Trouva was acquired by Re:store, to help bridge the gap between online and offline for independent retailers. The acquisition of Trouva comes as a pivotal moment for Re:store as it plans to integrate its social commerce technology with the marketplace for use by independent retailers. The integration will further advance personalised consumer experiences between the retailers and their global customer base via Trouva.
Requirements
An exciting opportunity to join our growing marketplace, we are set to launch a host of new features this year designed to engage our independent community in a whole new way. This new role will help drive onsite engagement and help scale our content strategy. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven creative brand manager who has experience briefing, creating and optimising short video content plus, has experience building relationships with creators and influencers in the home, fashion and lifestyle space.
The right candidate will be passionate about popular culture, be well-versed in changing consumer trends and have their finger on the pulse with every new social platform. The role will also be a key stakeholder in projects aligned with the supply side of the business and they’ll become a true champion for our independent boutique community.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on all brand awareness initiatives, driving organic growth through a variety of cross-channel initiatives
- Own and manage the end-to-end production process of all headline campaigns working cross-team to ensure business objectives are met
- Be a key stakeholder in the evolution of Trouva’s content strategy, spearheading new formats and leading on ideation and exploration
- Supporting in building from the ground up, Trouva’s creator programme
- Own and manage the core content calendar and BAU production processes
- Develop, own and manage Trouva’s house tone, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
- Work closely with channel owners across organic and paid to ensure brand consistency through copy, house tone and visuals
- Plan and run regular cross-team sessions designed to drive innovation and creativity through our content and campaigns
- Work collaboratively with the supply teams to be in-the-know about new boutiques joining the platform
- Develop a deep understanding of the products, brands and boutiques which are currently resonating with our customers
- Brand representative both internally and with external partners, who will confidently champion Trouva
- Manage and mentor two direct reports
The role is right for you if:
- You’ve worked within consumer-facing brands or marketplaces for 7/8+ years, with a focus on brand activations and content
- You have experience analysing your work, using platforms like GA and Tableau to drive optimisations through data
- You immerse yourself in content and stay ahead of consumer and commercial trends
- You are a creative problem-solver who understands the power of brand storytelling
- You’re a self-starter who always thinks two steps ahead
- You are collaborative and an expert communicator
- You’re organised and resourceful
- You don’t mind getting stuck in to support the team when deadlines are tight
- You are bursting with new ideas and want to use that thinking to mentor junior members to do their very best
