White Stuff was established in 1985 through a simple idea. This idea grew and now we have shops and concessions in the UK and internationally, selling womenswear, menswear, accessories and homeware. WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced Graphic Designer with a creative mindset, a keen eye for detail and a desire to constantly improve brand expression through better design. You are in the loop with design trends and have a strong understanding of branding. You will have proven experience working across digital, social and print channels, including but not limited to: social video editing, motion graphics, web and email design and print collateral.

You’re not afraid to share and pitch new ideas or collaborate cross-functionally, and you’ve previously worked in the retail and/or ecommerce industry.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

As an Integrated Graphic Designer for White Stuff, your main responsibility is the creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital and print materials adhering to the White Stuff brand guidelines which drive the brand forward. You are skilled at motion graphic design, able to seamlessly execute creative concepts through videos and gifs, as well as coming up with new design and content ideas for web and social channels. You are also confident in your understanding and experience when designing for print.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Followingdirection from the Senior Creative Designer and working closely with the multichanneldesign team to align seasonal campaigns across all channels, includingprint, digital and social execution
  • Helpingproduce eye-catching creative social content to support the brand’s marketing and content activities –including motion graphic design and videoediting for use across social, web and email
  • Amplifyingthe brand’s tone of voice through creative and engaging email andeditorial webpage design
  • Deliveringhigh standard print collateral, includingin store POS, look book, PR assetsetc
  • Supportingthe multichannel design team and working on any adhoc print and digitalbriefs
  • Workingclosely with the broader brand team to produce cohesive brand content,effectively communicate ideas and feedback, collaborate with other teammembers from e-commence, trade, dev, retail
  • Producingpresentation material for reviews
  • Articulatingand presenting creative ideas/treatments to teams


WHAT YOU’LL NEED


  • Relevant industry experience ideally within a fashion retail in-house studio or an agency with similar client portfolio
  • Skill and experience in motion graphic design, an eye for image and video editing, and a sense ofthree-dimensional thinking
  • Excellent communication skills and digital design knowledge (including CRM, webpage and email design)
  • Experience of working with differentkey stakeholders including marketing, digital teams and external suppliers
  • Creative and conceptual thinking
  • Engagement with emerging trendsand culture, and with the wider creative community
  • Abilityto work independently and as part of a team
  • An exceptional online portfolio showcasing innovativedesign concepts and highly considered visual executions

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Premiere Pro (Illustration skills and knowledge of Sketch/ XD a bonus)
  • Great understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellent execution of your work
