About the Role

A senior leadership marketing role, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives in the digital sphere.

Reporting directly to the Group Director of Marketing, the role is responsible for leading the digital marketing team with the responsibilities of the team including and not limited to, planning and executing all web, PPC, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns, and maintenance of the back end and front end of the JA website.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy and implementation of digital marketing campaigns to generate revenue and effectively engage with target audience.
  • Evaluate, measure and report on performance of campaigns.
  • Identify trends and assist with the study of analytics to help make data-driven decisions to optimise ad spend and campaign performance.
  • Work closely with property revenue & distribution teams and property marketing leads and ensure workflows are in place, to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns to drive the commercial performance of the hotels.
  • Propose new or breakthrough digital technologies to help in enhancement of website performance.
  • Lead the training and development of the JA Resorts & Hotels marketing team in the field of digital marketing.
  • Manage all digital marketing efforts of the digital marketing team, ensuring adherence to quality standards, deadlines and proper procedures, correcting errors, and problems; ensure that all team members adhere to the same quality standards.

You should possess the following abilities:

  • Analytical thinking: analysing the latest in hospitality trends to develop strategies.
  • Communication: collaborating effectively with a team or department and communicating clearly throughout the advertising and marketing process to internal team members and also external stakeholders.
  • Creativity: generate imaginative and innovative ideas for campaigns and promotions.
  • Decision-making: choose which advertising or marketing strategy to pursue based on clearly identified objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent specialising Digital Marketing / Marketing.
  • 10+ years’ experience in a fast-paced matrix organisation in a similar digital marketing function, with the proven experience of leading teams.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation systems and database CRM.
  • Demonstrated understanding of a marketing funnel and how to align digital campaign strategies with the customer journey and delivery.
  • Takes a 360s approach of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Possess good time management skills and exceptional organisational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Good analysis and reporting skills.
  • Good critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • An eye for details.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team, and to lead a sub-group team of young professionals.
  • Ecommerce experience is highly desirable.
