⭐️ About the role

We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join the Data Department. As the first Data Scientist in the team, you will play a vital role in harnessing data-driven insights to propel business growth, elevate operational efficiency, and deliver first-class customer experiences.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will have the opportunity to uncover opportunities, design innovative experiments, build predictive models, and develop data-driven solutions to assist Businesses and Product managers that will empower our organization to maintain its position as a leader in the vacation rental industry.

🎯 Your main responsibilities will be:

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and prioritize data-driven projects, gaining an in-depth understanding of business goals and challenges Construct predictive models and algorithms that support Business and Product teams Collaborate with our Data Engineer and DevOps team to Build robust ML pipelines leveraging the modern data stack. Stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in data science seizing opportunities to apply them within our ambitious data-driven initiatives.

⭐ Requirements:

Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline At least 4 years of practical relevant experience in a similar position Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, enabling proficient data analysis and manipulation Solid experience using ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Pytorch) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analyze complex datasets to unearth valuable insights Experience deploying ML pipeline in a cloud environment (GCP) Business Acumen

Nice to have:

Experience within the travel, hospitality, or vacation rental industry, providing valuable context to your data-driven endeavors Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) frameworks such as spaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face Transformers Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker and PowerBI.
