We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail and very strong administration and communication skills to join our team.
You will need to have a proven track record of being highly organised and detail-focused and able to interact effectively with demanding clients. Ideally, you will have experience working in luxury travel - but this is not essential.
The core focus of the role, accounting for 70% of your time, would be managing all of our guest bookings. This involves meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with VIP guests.
You would be responsible for:-
- Organising all logistics around heli-ski trips including flights, hotels and transfers
- Timely client invoicing, payment processing, receipting and accounting
- Managing new and existing relationships with ski resorts and hotel groups
- Completing and sending out all trip itineraries
Once you had developed your product knowledge you would become involved in trip sales which would account for 15% of your time and include:-
- Responding to sales queries
- Maintaining and creating relationships with our guests
- Assisting with new business development for our range of trips and products
You would also spend 15% of your time supporting our marketing activities which would include:-
- Event planning and implementation
- Email and direct mail marketing
- Maintaining the website through our web-based CMS
- Writing and disseminating press releases
- Maintaining and creating relationships with our media contacts
- Managing our social media channels
- Writing and editing blogs
You would need to be happy working as part of a 3-person team based full-time in our office in Chiswick. During the core season (September – May) you will work in situ in our Chiswick office, and for the remaining months (June – August), you can work up to 2 days per week from home.
You must have some experience/understanding of skiing, although you do not need to be an expert.
