⭐️ About the role

We seek a dynamic and experienced professional to join our company as the Head of FP&A and Strategic Planning. You will be reporting directly to the CFO and will be responsible for leading the FP&A team and contributing to our financial success and driving informed decision-making across the organization. You will have access to cutting-edge tools such as Abacum, Netsuite and Tableau in a data-driven organization. You will also be in charge of coordinating the company’s strategic planning process key to achieving our company objectives working closely with the CEO and the executive management team.

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

- Develop and manage the financial planning process, including annual budgeting, long-term financial modelling, and rolling forecasts.

- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful recommendations to drive business performance and optimize resource allocation.

- Collaborate with department heads to develop accurate revenue and expense forecasts aligned with business objectives

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

- Prepare and present regular financial reports and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting key variances, risks, and opportunities.

- Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making, investment evaluation, and business planning.

- Perform profitability analysis, cost optimization assessments, and ROI evaluations for new initiatives and existing operations.

Strategic Planning:

- Coordinate and prepare the Company OKR process.

- Prepare presentations (incl. Board Meetings, Townhall Meetings, etc.) and conduct ad-hoc analysis for the CEO.

Business Partnering and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives, business growth, and risk management.

- Collaborate with operational teams to develop key performance indicators (KPIs), track performance against targets, and drive accountability.

- Partner with accounting and treasury teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

- Set clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback and coaching, and identify opportunities for professional growth and development.

- Establish strong cross-functional relationships and promote effective communication with stakeholders across the organization.

⭐ You'll be successful if you have:

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience 5+ years in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a high-growth startup, technology, or similar industry. Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights. Strong understanding of key financial statements, budgeting, and financial controls. Good understanding of strategic planning processes including OKR. Great leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing and developing a team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software, ERP systems). Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
