Role Requirements

About the role: As a Housekeeper for our Accommodation Service based in Southampton, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our accommodation sites are clean, safe, and welcoming for children, young people, and families diagnosed with cancer. This position is part of the Services and Impact Directorate, contributing significantly to our mission by providing high-quality and efficient service.
Job requirements: We are looking for candidates with previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning, and a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements related to cleaning. You should be proficient in using different types of cleaning equipment and have a firm grasp of general and enhanced cleaning methods. The role requires someone who is highly organized, has good interpersonal skills, and is sensitive to the needs of our service users. A positive and professional attitude, flexibility in work duties and hours, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
