Role Summary
- As an Immigration Coordinator at the International Student Resource Center (ISRC), you'll be a key resource in helping international students and scholars navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration requirements.
- Responsibilities include content development on non-immigrant academic and work visas, immigration regulations, SEVIS ensuring compliance, managing inquiries at our virtual Help Desk, and contributing to social media outreach.
Role Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience as a DSO and ARO with a deep understanding of the U.S. immigration system.
- Excellent communication skills, an independent work style, and the ability to thrive in a remote environment are essential.
- Prior experience in a higher education or international student services setting, familiarity with immigration compliance software, and language skills are preferred.

Your responsibilities will include content development on non-immigrant academic and work visas, visa status, immigration regulations, SEVIS, and compliance requirements. You will also manage our virtual Help Desk, respond to inquiries, track inquiry trends, develop web content, and assist with social media outreach.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO), with strong knowledge of the U.S. immigration system, including SEVIS, F-1, and J-1 visa regulations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience as a PDSO and/or RO in a higher education or international student services setting, familiarity with immigration compliance software, and multilingual capabilities.
