Role Summary
- Creating and managing impactful communication strategies.
- Generating press releases, media statements, and guest articles amongst other texts for external communication.
- Supporting colleagues from other departments with their communication tasks and handling media inquiries.
Role Requirements
- A Master's degree in Communication, PR, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Prior experience in press and public relations, ideally in an NGO or agency environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (C2) and a network in the German media landscape.
- Independent, solution-oriented, customer-focused, with strong communication skills, intercultural competence, team spirit, and enthusiasm for socially relevant topics.

ProVeg is a nutrition organization committed to transforming the global food system by replacing animal products with plant-based and cultured alternatives. As a V-Label PR Manager, you will join our communications team and give the V-Label a strong, unified voice in Germany. You will develop and manage communication measures with strategic foresight and journalistic sensitivity, ensuring the V-Label is represented effectively in both trade and consumer media.
The role involves direct influence on the perception and development of the V-Label through frontline communication activities. You will be responsible for creating and editing press releases, media statements, guest articles, and other texts for external communication. Additionally, you will advise and support colleagues from other departments on their communication tasks, prepare for and accompany them to editorial appointments, and handle media inquiries in coordination with the relevant teams.
Job requirements include a Master's degree in Communication, PR, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field, several years of experience in press and public relations, ideally in an NGO or agency environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (C2). You should also have a network in the German media landscape, be independent, solution-oriented, customer-focused, and have strong communication skills, intercultural competence, team spirit, and enthusiasm for socially relevant topics.
