Role Summary
- Support the expansion of our volunteer-aided efforts at Share
- Focus on our Go Anywhere, Do Anything (GADA) project
- Work with students to create a GADA trips programme
- Recruit, train volunteers, and organise trips, ensuring their accessibility and safety
Role Requirements
- Experience in handling volunteers or coordinating projects preferably in a community setting
- Experience working or volunteering with individuals requiring support
- Ability to forge strong professional relationships with various stakeholders

The role: As a Volunteering and Social Inclusion Project Officer, you will support the growth of our volunteer-enabled work at Share, particularly focusing on our Go Anywhere, Do Anything (GADA) project. This project involves volunteers and students going on regular social outings. You will work with our students to co-design a programme of GADA trips, recruit and train volunteers, and organize the trips, including risk assessments and planning for accessibility.
Job requirements: You should have experience working or volunteering with people who need support and coordinating volunteers or projects, preferably in a community setting. Building good working relationships with a range of stakeholders is crucial.
