Warehouse Operations Team Leader

We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Team Leader to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for supporting and managing our busy teams of Warehouse Operatives to ensure the achievement of daily picking, packing, and other customer fulfilment targets.

The role: As a Warehouse Operations Team Leader, you will report directly to the Team Manager and have overall responsibility for the daily management of an allocated department. Your main tasks will include ensuring the delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining consistent high standards across the department. You will liaise closely with Senior Team Leaders and other colleagues to effectively allocate resources and maximise productivity. Additionally, you will communicate and monitor daily targets to ensure orders are picked and packed within set timeframes. Other key responsibilities include updating HR, scheduling systems, maintaining good levels of housekeeping, promoting a safety-first culture, and supporting attendance management.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in various warehouse departments and teams, a good understanding of Operations, Picking, and Packing roles, and a passion for customer satisfaction. Strong leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to motivate, develop, and engage a team. High standards of accuracy and good attention to detail are also required.

Benefits: You will work 12-hour shifts from 8.00am to 8.00pm on a rota of 4 days on and 4 days off. Flexibility in terms of hours worked, especially in peak trading periods, is necessary.
