The role: As a Rehoming & Welfare Coordinator for dog rehoming at Battersea, you will be a champion of exceptional customer service, ensuring that the dogs in our care find the most suitable homes. You will utilize your empathy, insight, and communication skills to guide our customers through the rehoming process, asking thoughtful questions to understand their needs and lifestyle. Collaborating closely with our kennel teams, you will identify potentially matching dogs and support a positive, successful rehoming process. You will act as a trusted and professional point of contact for all customer inquiries, confidently engaging with the public via phone, email, in person on site, and during home visits, representing Battersea with warmth, clarity, and a commitment to our values.

Job requirements: This role requires a person with resilience and adaptability to handle all aspects of the job, including the physical tasks necessary to provide exceptional standards of care to our animals. We are looking for individuals who can handle the unique challenges that each day may bring.
