Role Summary

Battersea is currently in an exciting phase of innovation and transformation, having launched a new five-year strategy to increase our investment in income generation. This expansion is crucial for achieving our organisational goals. Trust fundraising at Battersea has seen significant growth, increasing from 1m in 2022 to 2.6m in 2025.
The role: As a Trusts Manager, you will work alongside another Trusts Manager, the Trusts Officer, and Trusts Lead to secure essential funding from Trusts and Foundations. This funding supports the welfare of dogs and cats both in the UK and internationally. You will manage a portfolio of five-figure Trust donors and maintain relationships to secure funding from both existing and new supporters. Additionally, you will assist the Trusts Officer with bi-annual Small Trusts Mailings and the Trusts Lead with significant partnerships.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will be proactive, motivated, and have a passion for animal welfare. Strong communication and excellent writing skills are essential, enabling you to craft compelling funding proposals with the support of your team.
