About the role

We’re looking for a super organised, enthusiastic and tech-savvy People Operations Associate to join the People team at Beam.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our onboarding and office processes run smoothly, creating an exceptional level of experience for new and current Beamers. You’ll be the go-to person for office management tasks, as well as helping new joiners get up and running with their equipment and life at Beam.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to learn rapidly in a fast-paced People team!

You’ll be

  • Managing our onboarding process, including welcoming new joiners to life at Beam, ensuring their systems are set up from day 1 to begin creating impact and changing lives
  • Keeping track of equipment and placing orders for new devices
  • Supporting the People Operations Executive with delivering onboarding sessions
  • Booking travel and accommodation for new joiners coming to London for their first week
  • Managing our office processes, including team meals and office happy hours
  • Coordinating with our office provider to resolve any office-related issues day-to-day
  • Ordering supplies and making sure everything is well stocked
  • Organising events and socials

You are

  • Highly organised and renowned for your incredible attention to detail
  • Self-starting and enthusiastic about operational tasks: keen to improve processes and suggest new ways of doing things
  • Tech savvy: you don’t need to be an IT expert, but you’ll need to be comfortable working with new technologies and problem-solving
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Flexible and the kind of person who thrives on constant change and challenge as well as maintaining a strong organisational backbone of regular recurring tasks
  • Keen to bring your true, open self to work

We have a three-stage interview process, giving you plenty of time to learn about Beam while we get to know you:

  1. 30-minute video call with one of our Talent Managers
  2. Timed scenario-based tests, giving you a better sense of the role
  3. Final interview with team members from our Leadership and People teams
