Role Summary
- Lead indirect sales growth in the South UK.
- Unlock new routes to market for EV charging solutions through wholesalers, distribution partners and related indirect channels.
- Full sales cycle management from prospecting to onboarding.
- Building strategic relationships and developing go-to-market plans.
- Leverage data & insight and stay ahead of the market trends.
Role Requirements
- Proven sales record with experience of full-cycle sales delivery and annual sales targets of £2m+.
- Ability to build long-term trust-based relationships with suppliers or channel partners.
- Familiar with CRM and sales analytics tools (ideally HubSpot).
- Excellent commercial acumen, strategic thinking, sales, negotiation, presentation skills.
- Comfortable with field work and possess strong territory management skills.
- Strong internal stakeholder management.
- Resilient and adaptable in a dynamic market.
- A passion for sustainability, EV’s and future mobility.

The Role We're seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead indirect sales growth here in the South UK. This role is critical in unlocking new routes to market for our EV charging solutions through wholesalers, distribution partners and related indirect channels; primarily focusing on enabling access to homebuilders and property developers. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal through to negotiation, contract and seamless partner onboarding. You will also identify and secure new partners, build strategic relationships, develop go-to-market plans, deliver commercial results, collaborate cross-functionally, leverage data & insight, stay ahead of the market, and represent Pod externally.
Job Requirements Proven track record in B2B or B2B2C sales with strong experience of full-cycle sales delivery and annual sales targets of £2m+. Ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with wholesalers, trade suppliers or channel partners. Familiarity with CRM and sales analytics tools (ideally HubSpot). Excellent commercial acumen, strategic thinking, sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. Comfortable operating independently in the field, with strong territory management skills. Excellent communication, presentation and influencing abilities. Strong internal stakeholder management. Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic market. A real passion for sustainability, EV’s and the future of mobility.
