Role Summary

  • Manage and enhance AWS infrastructure focusing on security, cost efficiency, and architecture patterns.
  • Collaborate with different engineering teams to design and introduce AWS patterns.
  • Support the transition to SRE practices, including observability, monitoring, and alerting for production systems.
  • Contribute to a growing serverless environment and partake in Go development and automation.

Role Requirements

  • Proficient experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, VPCs, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to engage with non-platform teams.
  • Interest or experience in serverless architectures and Go programming.
  • Background with Linux environments and familiarity with SRE concepts.
  • Experience with GCP and willingness to cross-train is an advantage.

The role: As a Platform Engineer, you'll manage and optimize AWS infrastructure focusing on security, cost efficiency, and architecture patterns. You'll work closely with various engineering teams to design and implement AWS patterns and support the transition towards SRE practices. This includes observability, monitoring, and alerting for production systems. You'll also contribute to a growing serverless environment and get hands-on with Go development and automation.

Job requirements: Strong experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, VPCs, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) is essential. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, be comfortable engaging with non-platform teams, and have familiarity or interest in serverless architectures and Go programming. Experience with Linux environments and exposure to SRE concepts is also required. Experience with GCP and a willingness to cross-train would be a bonus.
