Role Summary
- Lead a comprehensive People function, covering HR, organisational development, culture, leadership development, and people operations.
- Liaise with Directors of Digital, Finance, and Transformation, advising Executive board on changes related to personnel, culture, and structural changes.
Role Requirements
- Senior HR leadership experience.
- CIPD membership up to Fellowship level preferred.
- Knowledge in HR practices, employment law, and organisational effectiveness.
- Experience in public bodies, charities, government, or similar environments; though this is not essential.

As the Director of People and Culture, you will play a strategic and highly influential role in shaping our people strategy and supporting colleagues through this period of organisational evolution.
The role: You will lead a modern, forward-looking People function that integrates HR, organisational development, culture, leadership development, EDI, and people operations. Your efforts will align our people, structures, and culture with our future operating model. You will work closely with the Directors of Digital, Finance, and Transformation, advising our Executive Board and senior leaders on people, culture, and change, and attend Executive Board meetings.
Job requirements: We are seeking a strategic, inspiring leader with senior leadership experience in HR, OD, and people strategy within a complex organisation. You should have CIPD membership at full level (Fellowship preferred), deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organisational effectiveness. Experience in public bodies, charities, government, regulated environments, or organisations undergoing major transformation is beneficial but not essential.
