Raisely helps nonprofits across the world bring their fundraising ideas to life. We’re a purpose-driven remote team, spread across 7 countries and 17 cities.

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to amplify our growth efforts by reaching new charities, nonprofits and agencies that improve the well-being of people and the planet through online fundraising. By joining our team, you’ll not only get to deepen your people and sales skills but save lives, save our climate, and support the most vulnerable people in our society.

This is for-purpose sales at its best.

About the role:

As an SDR, you’ll help grow our customer base in the UK and Ireland, by identifying prospective leads and customers, managing a sales funnel, and ensuring successful leads become successful Raisely customers. You’ll quickly become a Raisely product expert, booking professional product demos and understanding potential customers to advise them how Raisely can help them.

You’ll be supported to be and do your best by our Country Lead, and work closely with our Customer Success Team and the rest of our company, to ensure that each customer's experience from their first touch point to going live is outstanding.

In this role, you’ll identify opportunities to improve, share your skills and expertise in outbound sales strategies, and help steer Raisely towards our ambitious growth goals.

Like all roles at Raisely, to be successful you should be an excellent communicator, believe in the values behind our customer screen, and leave your ego at the door (amplifying others is one of our 3 core values).

HOURS

This role is full-time and permanent. You’ll be expected to do 5 days/38hrs a week while you’re getting up to speed, then within 3 months will be eligible to move to 4 days/30.4hrs as part of our 4 Day Work Week policy.

LOGISTICS

We can engage you as a contractor with equal terms anywhere in the world.

LOCATION

Raisely is a remote company (we’ll help you set up your home office or chip in towards a coworking space) but we’re hiring for this role to be based in the UK or Ireland.

What will you be doing?

Here are some things that you might tackle in your first few months. Importantly, we’ll be here to support you along the way.

  • Prospect multiple outbound target lists, identifying sales qualified lead opportunities via email sequences.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and work closely with our UK Country Lead to provide qualified demo bookings for our weekly webinars and 1-1 demo calls.
  • Identify, nurture and convert warm leads into sales opportunities from our existing database.
  • Attend charity sector events to build your network and identify trends as growth opportunities.
  • Respond to outbound and inbound sales enquiries, including demo requests via various channels.
  •  Monitor and optimise your outbound email sequences, sharing any insights you discover with the broader sales team.
  • Meticulously document your leads and deals in HubSpot our Growth CRM.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team on sales enablement tools to support brand awareness to a broad targeted customer base.
  • Improve absolutely anything and voiced your unique ideas. Your job description doesn’t end with these bullet points!

What we're looking for:

You’ve had at least three years of similar experience including success with outbound sales and prospecting.

Previous experience in SaaS is also beneficial, but more importantly you know outbound sales and understand the methodology. You stay level-headed during the ups and downs and relish the “win” moments, when you get it right.

You're an excellent communicator.

You know how to make connections, are a great networker and can build relatedness quickly and confidently.

You’re ambitious and love to close the deal.

You have a track record of hitting and exceeding goals. You’re happy to self-manage but can identify when you need to bring in others.

You're digitally savvy.

Online products make sense to you. You have experience with a wide range of software platforms and are good at explaining them to others.

You care about making a difference

Yeah, we’re all here because we want to make the world better (and by that we mean a carbon-neutral utopia with world peace and just laws, where all people have equal opportunity to thrive). So you’ve gotta want that too!

Ok, and why work with us?

This ain't no NFT's for rainforests pyramid scheme. In your first week with us, you’ll be a part of helping vetted charities raise 2.5 million dollars for everything from responding to crises to curing cancer.

So we can make this happen, we’ve made working here different. You’d be joining a fully remote, global team of compassionate, generous experts – from engineering to sales. We’re async, avoid busywork and keep meetings to a minimum. We work 4 days a week, for full-time pay, and full-time productivity. Once you’re up to speed, a regular week here is 30.4 hours.

Working at Raisely is unique. Every hour you spend with Raisely, you’re making the world a better place. Pretty great perk, hey?

If you need more convincing, here’s the rest of it:

💵 Salary – We try to pay above-average salaries, benchmarked on similar roles. We’d offer £35k a year for this role.

⏰ 4 Day Week & Flexible Hours – Working here is about getting your work done, not clocking hours. You’ll be eligible to work a 4 Day Week at full pay once you’re past onboarding. We’ll work with you to figure out hours that work with you, and we’re flexible when life gets in the way.

💻 Technology – The usuals. We’ll get you a laptop and screen when you start, plus help you set up your home office.

✈️ 'In-Person' Retreats – Every year we fly you somewhere pretty for our team retreats. Our last one was in Noosa, Queensland!

🗺 Annual Leave – Everyone gets 4 weeks paid leave plus 11 days of public holidays, to be taken when you like. Plus, you are entitled to generous paid sick leave.

🌴 Work remotely – We’re a remote-first company - live and work wherever you’re happiest. We’ll cover a co-working space if you’d like to work there.

⏰ Flexibility – We’ll work with you to figure out hours that work with you, and we’re flexible when life gets in the way.

😌 Calm Company – ⅓ of us are parents, another ⅓ are parents to fur babies, and the other ⅓, well, they have lives too, so we strive to respect each other's personal time.

🤷 Training – We’ll support you with time when you want to learn new skills or pay for conference or course tickets.
