Are you passionate about climate change and keen to work towards positive ecological and social impact? We're looking for an energized and creative individual with a climate or ecology related background and excellent research and writing skills to join our team as Content Writer & Researcher - Climate (d/f/m). Your focus will be the the day-to-day creation and management of engaging content around climate risk and related issues, especially infrastructure-related.
In this role, you will become part of our Communications team and directly report to our CEO.
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on climate risk, ecological challenges, and related infrastructure issues.
- Translate complex climate science and research findings into engaging, digestible, and impactful content.
- Collaborate closely with the Communications team to develop content strategies and identify key topics for publication.
- Produce a variety of content types including social media posts and blog posts.
- Work alongside the CEO to align content creation with the company's overarching goals and strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest climate science and research developments, ensuring the content is timely and relevant.
- Engage with online communities, thought leaders, and readers to understand their interests and feedback.
- Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with the brand's voice and style.
Is it you we are looking for?
- BA or MA in a climate-related field, such as Climate Science, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- Proven experience in research and content creation, preferably related to climate or environmental topics.
- Exceptional research and writing skills (English).
- Keen eye for detail, excellent grammar and proof reading ability.
- Ability to analyse and communicate data as well as conveying complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
- Competency in using social media channels, especially LinkedIn.
- Passion for climate change and ecological and social impact.
- Lots of enthusiasm & a good sense of humor.
Nice to have:
