innocent started with a simple mission: to make drinks that make it easy to do yourself some good. In 1999 we concocted a few smoothies in our kitchen and tested them on people at a music festival; today we’re blending every type of fruit & veg under the sun and selling drinks right across Europe. We have great ambitions: to show the world that you can build a successful business that cares about more than just profit, and to leave things better than we find them. We’re proud to call ourselves Europe’s favourite little healthy drinks company, but we’re still growing. And that means we need more brilliant people who share our ambition, to join in with the next, most exciting, part of our story.
what you'll be doing
at innocent we’ve been on a journey over the past couple of years, starting the revolution to our core bits of technology and all of the processes we use with the intention of making sure our business runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible as it grows. We’ve launched a shiny new suite of systems and have come to the end of our biggest ever technology and process change programme (implementing an ERP, PLM and HR solution) as well as building a new factory (the blender) and we need some brilliant people to continue the ongoing transformation – with specific focus on our end to end planning processes – to make sure we’re supporting the running of our day to day operation and that we stick to our goals of keeping things simple as our business evolves over the coming years. The end to end planning programme team is a recently put together programme team of 30+ business analysts, solution architects, project and programme managers and change deliverers from across innocent, with a clear mission of ironing out the kinks in how we manage our end to end planning processes so we can support the volumes going through our blender and deliver the service our customers across Europe expect.
We have a very exciting opportunity to join this newly formed team as a project manager in the programme management area. The team sits across the whole agile programme team, ensuring all work starts in the right place at the right time and is managed through the delivery teams and lands in our business on time. You’ll be responsible for large chunks of the delivery of the programme, needing to hold a wide range of team members accountable for delivering to agreed deadlines and ensuring all elements of delivery are joined up and coherent.
As a project manager in the end to end Planning Programme team, you’ll be leading sub-teams through scoping, design and delivery of work packages and projects, managing the risks, issues and dependencies and ensuring our entry and exit criteria standards are meet as these work packages move through our agile delivery teams.
You will also be:
- You’ll be working really closely with all the other teams (discover the root cause, design the solution, deliver the solution and get it landed) to keep a handle on the work going through the ‘pipe’ so you can support the various teams to get ready to launch.
- Facilitating and gathering inputs for our prioritisation committee to ensure the programme are working on the right thing at the right time
- Leading on the plan for initiation of work packages and solution design, defining your governance for work packages & projects
- You’ll also be working with 3rd parties, where they deliver solutions for us, so would be getting some solid exposure to vendor management and would need to flex your external influencing skills.
You'll have
- Experience in leading projects or large work packages through the full project life cycle and has successfully a technology project/workstreams.
- Understands and confidently uses standard project methodology, process and frameworks.
- Experience of planning and executing successful change by designing, creating, and maintaining detailed project documentation
- Exceptional people leadership skills, with the ability to create high-performing temporary teams and motivate them to success
- Confident and proactive in building relationships across all levels of the business to engage stakeholders from the outset and ensure we’re meeting business needs.
You'll get
- A chance to be a part of one of the most important pieces of change delivery over the next 12 months
- Learn a whole load of new skills, working alongside a great bunch in our programme team, the wider delivery teams and business teams as a whole.
- Its an exciting time to be joining the programme, in these forming stages as we are still working through and creating the right ways of working for our teams and the programme, so you’ll get the chance to play a role in the thinking on how we do things.
- You will help us to keep doing business the right way – keeping innocent one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work, using our B Corp status to inspire wider change, and reinforcing our culture of staying little as we grow big. At innocent, it’s the relationships and friendships we create while working together, that make us who we are. It’s why we love hybrid working – a mix of connecting in person and remotely. We’re also aware that the world is changing, and we all want and need different things from our work and home lives. So, if you need to walk the dog, go to the gym, or have commitments outside of work, we’re open to talking through flexible working options that work for you and us.
In return for everything you can bring, we can offer you an exciting, challenging role in a fast-growing and dynamic business, with plenty of career opportunities in the UK and across Europe as well as a competitive rewards package. We also have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at. Take a look at our reward page for more details.
If you think you have everything we're looking for and more, then we'd love to hear from you.
You'll need to get your skates on though, as applications close soon
