ABOUT YOU
We want people to come into Minor Figures to be a true version of themselves every day. Every day. No matter if you're up, or if you're down, we want people that embrace every day being different. People that can bring the energy, support their team mates when the times get hard, but not hold off from asking for support themselves.
We hire humans, not machines, so let’s look at the key skills that we love to see. People that:
- Live and breathe their authenticity and individuality in everything that they do.
- Take pride in what they do, and inspire others to do the same.
- Have a sense of fun and adventure, along with a hands on & a can-do approach.
- Not be phased by constant change and challenges and willing to adapt and implement solutions.
- Collaborate like crazy & have a willingness to help in all areas of the business when needed.
- Approach every day like it’s day one. Committed, open minded and ready to enjoy every exhilarating second.
Experience wise, let’s dive into it. You’ll ideally:
- Be an experienced People professional, comfortable working in a fast paced environment helping to coach and grow line managers and support teams to perform at their best.
- Know how to deal with employee relations issues like underperformance, redundancy and different types of absence, and you like getting into the detail as well as coming up with creative ideas.
- Easy to talk to, encourage people to be open with you and you have an ability to get under the skin of what people and teams need to succeed.
- You have *significant experience as an HR business partner or similar role, ideally in a fast growing start up or scale up.
- Be CIPD qualified is a bonus, as is having some degree of knowledge of US and Australia employment law.
*We hear you, what defines significant? We don’t set years of experience as a benchmark, nor say any industry is more relevant than another. You are already damn significant, we just want to see a track record that meets the demands of Minor Figures and this role. You tell us why and we’re all ears, or in this case, eyes.
