Role Summary
- You'll be part of the Specialist Weight Management Service (SWMS) team.

Role Requirements
- An experienced professional within weight management, bariatric, eating disorder, or mental health setting.
- Capable of conducting assessments and consultations, managing caseloads, and working independently and in a team.
- Strong understanding of obesity and associated challenges, including weight stigma.

The role: As a Bank Assessment Specialist, you will join our Specialist Weight Management Service (SWMS) team to address the increased demand for our services. This role involves conducting assessments via video call, gathering patient information to inform clinical decision-making, and identifying the most appropriate intervention pathway. Some assessments may also include risk assessments for suicidal ideation/self-harm. This position is a 3-month fixed-term bank contract with potential for extension, offering flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely from anywhere in the UK.
Job requirements: Candidates should have experience in a weight management, bariatric, eating disorder, or mental health setting. You should be capable of conducting initial assessments and consultations, managing a caseload, and working both autonomously and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. A solid understanding of obesity and related issues, including weight stigma, is essential.
