Role Summary
- Be the Head of Brand Marketing to spearhead CALM's brand marketing initiatives,
- Achieve augmented awareness and deepen understanding of CALM's mission,
- Offer strategic direction and creative leadership to the CALM's brand and make sure that campaigns, partnerships, and marketing communications create a real impact.
Role Requirements
- Ideal candidate should have extensive experience in a senior brand marketing role, either in-house or within an agency,
- Proven track record of developing and executing brand strategies and managing integrated brand campaigns,
- Strong analytical skills, a growth mindset, and a hands-on approach to brand management,
- Leadership skills and experience in the not-for-profit sector are beneficial but not mandatory.

Our mission is to reduce the devastating impact of suicide through our life-saving helpline, practical online resources, and impactful campaigns that challenge stereotypes and change the culture around mental health and suicide.
The role: As the Head of Brand Marketing at CALM, you will be responsible for leading our brand marketing efforts to enhance awareness, deepen understanding of our mission, and inspire cultural change to prevent suicide. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will oversee the strategic direction, creative leadership, and guardianship of the CALM brand. This includes ensuring that our campaigns, partnerships, and marketing communications are bold, distinctive, and integrated, achieving real impact.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a senior brand marketing role, either in-house or within an agency, with a proven track record of developing and executing brand strategies and managing integrated brand campaigns. You should have strong analytical skills, a growth mindset, and a hands-on approach to brand management. Leadership skills and experience in the not-for-profit sector are beneficial but not mandatory.
Benefits: CALM offers unlimited annual leave, a healthcare cash plan, a 6% pension contribution, access to therapeutic services after probation, and a hybrid working model with a nine-day fortnight schedule. You will be required to work from our London Waterloo office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with remote working on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
