In joining as a V-Label PR Manager, you will play a critical role in this mission, amplifying the voice of the V-Label in Germany.
Role Summary:
- Lead the development and implementation of communication strategies for the V-Label.
- Plan and manage strategic communication measures.
- Compose and edit press releases, media statements, guest articles, and other external communication materials.
Role Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Communication, PR, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Prior experience in press and public relations; ideally in an NGO or agency environment.
- Superior German language skills (C2) along with expert written expression.
- Confidence in handling media inquiries, including sensitive topics. A network in the German media landscape is advantageous.

ProVeg International is a nutrition organization committed to transforming the global food system by replacing animal foods with plant-based and cultured alternatives. As a V-Label PR Manager, you will join our communications team and give the V-Label a strong, unified voice in Germany. You will develop and manage communication measures with strategic foresight and journalistic intuition. Together, we ensure that the V-Label is represented clearly and effectively in both trade and consumer media.
The role: You will directly influence the perception and development of the V-Label by being at the forefront of communications about the label. This includes steering the development, planning, and implementation of communication strategies and measures to ensure a consistent V-Label presence in German trade and consumer media, proactively as well. You will also write and edit press releases, media statements, guest articles, and other texts (e.g., white papers) for external communication.
Job requirements: You should have a Master's degree in Communication, PR, Journalism, Media Studies, or a comparable qualification. Several years of experience in press and public relations, ideally in an NGO or agency environment, are required. Excellent German language skills (C2), excellent written expression, and confident handling of media inquiries, even in sensitive situations, are essential. A network in the German media landscape is advantageous.
