Job Description
BeZero is looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our established Product team. This role would focus on work across our internal processes, tools and operational excellence.
This role will lead the ongoing effort to increase productivity across BeZero and lead the development of core tools and applications across our Ratings, Data, Ops and Research teams. This role is pivotal to ensure the scaling of the company and its operational processes.

We’re looking for a competent and ambitious all rounder who can manage multiple tasks, projects and stakeholders concurrently. Someone who is an entrepreneurial self-starter who can comfortably and confidently run their own work streams and deliver at pace. The role will be a mix of strategy and delivery but will be focused on execution in the short-term. It will report to the Chief Product Officer.
Responsibilities
Product Management
-Identify customer needs and break them down into tasks for analysis and implementation
-Review product usage information to understand patterns and suggest improvements
-Be able to elicit customer feedback and have customer empathy to ensure a smooth UX/IX
-Be able to explain and evangelise the product and features to a non technical audience
Business Analysis
-Given a high level goal identify the steps to achieve and break them down into tickets that can be explored and actioned by the development team
-Identify business process changes as well as technology changes
Technical Analysis
-Working with the development team help breakdown work items and identify technical decisions and options for implementation
Project Management
-Produce project plans and manage delivery to the appropriate hand off point (i.e. product / feature launch)
-Provide reporting to management in a timely and clear manner including escalations
-Ensure delivery of an outcome (not just a feature or a project)
Essential experience
-6+ years experience as a Product Manager
-Experience in working with highly experienced, on-shore engineering teams
-Background in a content, research or data business in a B2B context preferred
-Demonstrated ability to identify, define and deliver initiatives
-Comfort manipulating and interpreting quantitative data from product analytics
-The ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-growing company
It would be ideal if you have:
-Interest or experience in carbon markets, or environmental / climate change topics more broadly
-Experience in building internal tools & applications in a complex stakeholder environment.
