Role explanation

Acting as a Hands on I.T. manager you will provide BAU Information Technology administration services and act as an senior point of technical reference and line manager to the Systems Engineer and Support Engineer, while contributing to overall IT strategy, including implementation / consolidation of CRM’s, security enhancements, sharepoint oversight, and more.

Key Relationships

Head of I.T. – reporting – The hands on I.T. Manager will work closely with the Head of I.T. to participate in the development and implementation of a strategy for new service implementation, migrate existing services, and consolidate services with a key focus on Dynamics 365 Sales and Marketing Modules · Systems Engineers – The hands on I.T. Manager will line manage and collaborate with Systems Engineers to evolve the design into practise and alternate delivery ownership and contributions within I.T. initiatives. The I.T. Manager will also be accountable for the implementation and planning of system changes. · Support Engineer – The hands on I.T. Manager will act as a point of escalation for more advanced technical issues if the systems engineer is not available, or cannot satisfy the escalation process.

Decision Making Authority

Non-Budgetary decisions such as best practises for technical decisions (e.g. how to best align team needs with logical file hierarchy)

Requirements

Essential:

  • Team leadership
  • Creative Problem Solving
  • Project management (ideally beyond Excel); A proven track record of project delivery or ownership
  • Fluid prioritisation on concurrent projects
  • Process Documentation

  • CRM Depoloyment / Management and integration
  • Intune or other MDM
  • Active Directory AD/AAD
  • Exchange or Exchange Online
  • SharePoint Deisgn and Administration
  • Microsoft Licensing
