Director of Development

• £54,075 (for 37.5 hours per week, or pro rata if part-time)

• 30-37.5 hours per week

• Permanent contract

• South East London – exact location to be confirmed

• Hybrid working available, with minimum 2 days per week in the office

Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich (BLG) Mind is a dynamic, growing mental health and dementia charity delivering support to over 10,000 people a year. 

BLG Mind and Lambeth & Southwark Mind are currently working towards a merger, which is expected to be completed in early 2024. Should the merger go ahead, this role will be the Director of Development for the new merged organisation covering the five Boroughs of Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham & Southwark.

This new role is an exciting opportunity for someone with substantial business development experience in the health and social care sector to join our small, high-performing Senior Leadership Team and lead our development work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital for this role, as is the ability to influence and motivate others.
