Head of Year - Outstanding Secondary School in South London
Wayman Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Year to join a large academy chain in South London. The school is looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and who can inspire students to achieve their full potential.
As Head of Year, you will be responsible for the pastoral care and wellbeing of a year group of students. You will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of teachers.
The ideal candidate will have:
- QTS or PGCE
- Experience of teaching at secondary school level
- A strong understanding of the pastoral needs of students
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- The ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- A commitment to continuous professional development

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification
- A university degree in any subject
- Experience teaching at secondary school level
