Outcomes you’ll be responsible for
- Assume the primary role in sourcing, advancing and closing partnerships with carbon removal suppliers.
- Lead in the development of our supplier onboarding and relationship management processes and constant efficiency improvements.
- Translate insights gathered from supplier interactions into Isometric's product development, ensuring our solutions are attuned to market demands.
Tasks you might do
- Track the entire market of CDR suppliers, ensuring we know what everyone is doing
- Act as the key relationship manager and advisor for every supplier we work with
- Coordinate between relevant Isometric team members to solve problems for suppliers and make them successful
Aptitudes you’ll display
- Showcase a track record of effectively managing and nurturing supplier relationships in carbon markets or CDR specifically, leveraging negotiation and collaboration skills.
- Possess the finesse to engage with internal teams and external suppliers, aligning interests and driving mutual success.
This role might not be for you if
- You don’t like note taking, pipeline reviews or CRM hygiene. Attention to detail and rigor are critical for success here.
- You’re looking for a fully remote role at the moment. In the early stages of building our product we’re optimizing for being physically together 3 days a week.
- You enjoy structure and only staying within your area of expertise. We’re a small team early on the journey and things change quickly as we learn more.
- You prefer a slower pace. While the problem we’re facing has a long time horizon, it’s also critical that we make meaningful progress on it today, not next quarter or year.
